I ran errands with Brin on Friday. It was the best day ever because I got to spend ALL of it with my BF^3 (Best Freakin Friend Forever). I love her. We went to XXI and to be quite honest I usually don't like that store very much. It's just too much everywhere and I get flustered. Anyway this time I struck gold by finding the sweetest jumpsuit ever. Yeah, I'm tots serious. It is the greatest. I never ever ever thought I would buy or even wear one...but it was kind of love at first sight. No one in my family knew how to react to it. In fact the first and only thing Jon did was laugh, and it wasn't like a hehe that's interesting it was like belly rumbling hahaha that's hilarious. He tried to tell me that I could pull it off because I was wearing it to be funny. He wouldn't believe me when I said I was totally serious about it. Laura giggled and told me I could totally pull it off...and yet she giggled the whole time she was talking to me. Jane said that jumpsuits would never be in in Utah just like high waisted skirts weren't actually in here... apparently high waisted skirts aren't in...even though everyone wears them. Princeton liked it...I like Princeton. My mom had to look up jumpsuits on the internet just so she could believe that people actually wore them. Cate was taken aback, but who wasn't? I hung out with Ethan that night too and when he first saw me his eyes got huge like what the...? And the next day he strongly discouraged me from wearing it to the movies... At least he didn't laugh right? My family hardly ever reacts well to my new fashions... and then all of a sudden everyone is wearing what I've been wearing for months... I like to think that I'm just ahead of the Utah fashion scene. Not that it's very hard to be ahead of. I kind of hate the fashion scene here. The point is if I can face my family's ridicule in a new outfit I can face anything in that outfit. Anyway, do you want to see my jumpsuit? Here it is...
I also bought the perfect heels for this, but that was the day after I took this picture and I'm not really into taking pictures of myself. AND I also bought some penny loafers that are so perfect. I bought both pairs at savers so it's not like I'm pouring money out on clothes that I won't be wearing in a month in a half...even though I kind of still am...oops.
Last thought for this post. Brin had her farewell yesterday and she did so great. I just know she is going to be the best missionary ever. I'm so proud of her.

Die Universität
School. It's going, thankfully.
My least favorite class is easily biological anthropology. It's definitely not my forte. I don't enjoy learning about primates. I find it a bore, a legit bore. Plus the teacher reminds me of a parrot-rat hybrid, and she has given the same lecture about paraphrasing and plagiarizing almost every class period. Obviously all the people who were poorly paraphrasing and plagiarizing before are still doing it now. Face it, they don't care enough to stop. And no matter how many classes you waste on the subject, they are not going to. This isn't English class...it's Anthropology 1020. Ridiculous really.
Math 1050 is math 1050. I'm not the biggest fan of math, but it isn't killing me. Oh wait...I don't even need math 1050 for my major.Yeah it's a little bit of a sore spot for me. Apparently stats 1040 is all I need for the anthropology major.
German 1010 has been pretty great. The instructor loves me...or maybe I should say that she loves my wardrobe. We have matching boat shoes now. Those boat shoes have saved my skin several times in that class.
P.S. I love my boat shoes.
World Archaeology is awesome. I've just started to really pay attention and it's so marvelous. I love archaeology. Which is important because that is what I am going into.We just learned about the Maya and their Hieroglyphics. Aw man, so cool. I came home and started copying them down. I really want to go into North and South American Archaeology. I get so excited about it.
My institute class is the bomb. Every class is jam packed with the spirit and I leave on a spiritual high every time. Brother Jacobs is really an amazing teacher. I love it!
Now for my newest, deepest, darkest secret...
...
I am ADDICTED to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Yeah, I just said that. Hulu had all of season 2 up so I watched it all. I spent all of last weekend watching it when I should have been studying for my math test. I seriously watched from about 11:30 pm Friday to 5 am Saturday with a 2 hour brake at 8. For the brake, I went to a little podunk indie venue where Bailey, Aubrey and I watched the Mermaid Baby, an awful sounding high school band full of adorable little freshman, and another band with an electric violin. It was fun and the Mermaid Baby was the best of the three by far. Anywho I finished season 2 that morning and swore the rest off. That is I swore it off until I found season 1 on our netflix that very night. And now I am bound with flaxen cords and I will be a slave to the next 5 1/2 seasons. May my soul be saved from this destruction...and yet I can't help but willingly go.

Obsession, thy name is World Cup
What a clever title eh? Truth be told, I'm not that clever and copied it from a friend's facebook post. Well Kenny here's to you. World Cup 2010 kicked off nicely on Friday and guess who was working and didn't watch the first games. No, not Richard Simmons... I have no idea what he was doing on Friday. It was me! I'm not too terribly bummed because there are a whole heck of a lot of games. The USA played England on Saturday and ooh-ooh, I think we have the most attractive team out there. Not a single ugly player on the roster. We didn't do too bad and came off with a 1-1 tie. Did you know that we've never lost to England? That's right. We even beat them in a 1950 World Cup game. True story. Oh boy, let's talk about England's Keeper, Robert Green. He'll never live down that goal. Clint Dempsey fires the ball from outside of the 18 and it goes right to Green's hands only to shoot off and fly into the net. You've got to watch it, oh pathetic.

Now whenever a goalie pulls a stupid they're going to be called a Green. "Hey nice one Green." or "You're such a Greenie." Poor guy... but not really because it gave us the tie. That being said, I love Clint Dempsey. I also love Landon Donavon. It wasn't a remarkable game for him but goodness that man is American soccer. Oguchi Onyewu (On-yay-woo) is such a stud. I must admit that his beard is pretty terrible but still the man had an amazing game. Tim Howard is a brilliant keeper and kept the English at bay for almost all of the game. I also want to give a shout out to our boy Robbie Findley from RSL. He started and finished the game. Let's just say that we have a very talented team and we have the potential to go far and win, but we lack intensity. If we played every game like we played against Spain in the FIFA Confederations Cup, then we could seriously whoop every team to a pulp. Of course my support is all behind the USA, but if we fail then I support Spain. With Sergio Ramos, Fernando Torres and so much other talent... they're fantastic.

Our American boys. Not the exact team that played against England, but hey they're still all attractive.
Ooh I finally got new kicks last night. www.eastbay.com is the place to go for inexpensive cleats. I got $100 cleats for $55! They're Mercurial Talarias and everywhere else was selling them for 69.99-79.99, but eastbay had them for 59.99. They were having a sale and so I got an additional 20% off. That was $55 including shipping and handling. They should be getting here around Friday hopefully. I'll be going back up to Logan for a visit and it would be sweet if I could take them along for a pickup game. I'm a little worried because I got a size 7 and I'm really hoping that they will be a perfect fit. Also they are white with orange and silver. I'm not an orange person usually. In fact I don't think I own any orange at all. The thing is that they really called to me and I couldn't even think of buying another pair.
Last night I watch The Young Victoria with my mum and it was fabulous. I thought Emily Blunt and Rupert Friend fit the parts of Victorian and Albert better than anyone else could have. They even looked similar. Oh my and I loved the dresses and hats. My mama says that I was born in the wrong time. Today's fashion isn't half so beautiful as the past was. Granted I would have to be a queen or rich lady to really enjoy it. But of course that's just what I would be right? ;) I really love the off shoulder cut of the dresses and the sleeves.
